This, or Sam West Writes This, if you like, is a comedy website that updates every Friday, and it’s pretty alright! Articles tend to make fun of current political issues, movies, TV, or music. This website has been on the web since 2009, but it’s been funny and something that a normal person would enjoy reading since 2011, so those are the only updates you’ll see.

Sam West is the guy who makes this website, me! That’s my picture up in the corner there. I’m really just this guy, you know, in High School, who likes to write about things and then put them here.
About History
It was September 2009 when I registered http://www.zoppzopp.com. I was a freshman in high school, and my sole purpose in acquiring a domain was to create a comedy site which originally was a web comic rather than a blog. It was, as I’ve said often, a disorganized pile of trash assembled crudely in HTML during my Computer Design class at school when I should have been doing work. What I called Minimalist Hipster Furry Theatre was an oddly literate and poorly drawn comic- most of them were trash; a few were alright. During this process, I’d post little ramblings alongside the comics and I began to realize that writing was what I really enjoyed. I cancelled the series in September 2011 after 57 volumes and the two-year mark of its production, and the website became just writing. These posts are why the archive goes back to January despite the fact that the site officially re-launched as Sam West Writes This in April 2012.

This website is available, not only at http://www.samwestwritesthis.com, but also at http://www.zoppzopp.com, as well as http://www.worldwidepotato.com, and http://www.funtimepalscom.com. The last two are confusing, I know. The former of the pair was an old affiliate I lent webspace to and subsequently subsumed, and the latter was registered completely by accident.
About Comments
Comments are a very great way to talk about what I say and tell me how I can be better at it, but there tends to be one overarching rule: don’t be a stupid asshole. I hear at least once a week about how Green Day or Theory of A Deadman are actually “totaly awesmoer!!!1!!,” so you probably don’t need to post that. You should also bear in mind that I don’t take things down because they offend people, and that if what I say about a movie or show you like is really that radically unreasonable, I’m just one guy. It’s not like I really affect how the world works in any way at all, It’s just my opinion. If you’re really offended though, call the This Offends Me Hotline at 205-887-1437 and they’ll refund your zero dollars through the mail in 3-4 business days.
